sorry but i have questions about my v6
« on: October 21, 2010, 04:19:49 PM »
can somewone still help? for some reason my car just stalls. going 70 mph down the freeway, or at idle at a light. randomly it just stalls. i changed the fuel filter, checked the fuel pump. relay was also replaced. since replacing the relay it ran really great for a day. idle was better, ran it pretty hard. as soon as i turned it off, it wouldnt restart. after 10 or 15 tries to start it, it did. seems like it is starving for fuel. i loose all power to the engine and it will turn over but not start. i have spark as well. question: everytime you turn the key to on position should you hear the fuel pump start then shut off. or is it if you built the pressure up you will not hear the pump everytime you turn the key? that will help me decide wat to do next. help ive been dealing with this and getting stranded all over town. :-\

You need a new fuel pump.
