Topic: Should I Rent out my 65?

I just finished restoring my 65 fastback. I was asked if I would rent it out for weddings. I am just wondering if any one has ever done this before and was it successful? These are some of the questions I am going through:

How much did you charge?
Did you drive the car?
Was there any damage afterwards?
Did you have a problem with insurance?
Would you do it again?

Any help from those that have done it or even those that havent I would love to hear your thoughts...

I don't even allow my wife to drive my '65 coupe.  If I were to rent it out for anything, I would drive it.  Period.  I have no idea of what to charge.  I guess it would depend on the distance.  If it was a vert you may get a few more coins than a fastback because the couple would be visible to all.  Good question, and well worth thinking about.

if you were to do this, ask your insurance provider if they would insure it as a business as well. do your research first. i will not and do not let any of my friends drive mine no questions asked. but thats just me. also if you pursue this, be sure to keep an extra eye on maintenance cuz if something breaks and the people get hurt you will more than likely be held responsible.

My wifes never driven my Mach I. In the 10 years I've had it I've probably let 4 people drive it for very short distances and only 2 time while I wasnt in the car once I let my kid take it and anothe time I let a friend take it told him he could go around the block 20 minute later he pulls up.
It someone wants my car they can give me 20 grand and its theirs.
