Seatbelt upgrade

Been thinking of eliminating the 2 piece belts in my Mach 1 for more modern retracting shoulder/lap belts. Anyone have a good idea of what donor cars would be the best choice for an easy upgrade?

I got a towtruck driver friend of mine to strip some from a Toyota to put in my 69 Baha therefore I can't tell you what the current used cost would be, but I got one of the first three point types in my 66 hardtop about 12 years ago. That being said, you need to either do some junkyard shopping or go to National Parts Depot
http://www.npdlink.com/
and look up p/n 61172-3A (insert "B" for red, "BB" for maroon, "C" for light blue, "J" for parchment, "K" for turquois where the "A" is) $229.95.

I'll probably cruise the pull a part yard and see what I can find. I want something a little better for daily use but that is self adjusting. I'll keep the originals and will look for something similar to the NPD parts in form and function.

The NPD belts are self adjusting and are a bolt in installation as compared to: finding brackets, washers, bolts, nuts and drilling hardened steel.

Great! I'll still cruise the junkyard once, but if I don't see exactly what I want I'll go with the NPD belts
