Also can anyone with a ram air air cleaner tell me the diameter and height of it? Trying to see if an extra air cleaner i have might be the same size so i can test clearances etc.

The diameter is 21 inches. The height is 3 3/4 inches to first level of air cleaner. Then there is an addition where you mount the rubber seal. This is offset a bit. It measures 5 inches from the bottom of air cleaner. Hope this helps.

I haven't been home long enough to measure my spare one yet. I'll try and measure it sometime this weekend and see. If you don't mind Jeff could you measure yours too just so i have a couple for verification purposes? Thanks

17x 3 1/2 with a 2/4 drop. With a 14I filter and lid it looks like a Ram air unit at least. If you need it let me know

Part of the reason I never looked for the ram air stuff is early on I bought an MSD HEI probillet distributor. Its huge I have a small K&N air filter with the top filter and a ram air filter would never fit with that distributor. I like the distributor its maintenace free pretty much and all but if I had it to do over I'd get a more stock sized one.
