Topic: power sterring

hey guys I have a 73 mach one of course if you know me. I have been asking and haven't got an answer yet. I would like to put power sterring on my car, but I don't know if all i need is the pump ,hoses and belt or if I need a new sterring box. I have seen alot of them with it but I know some will hook straight up. HELP ME please. Stang out

I would say you have to replace the steering box from what I saw:
 - 1971-73 Mustangs with power steering use either a Saginaw or Ford integral power steering box.
 - 1971-1973 manual boxes used a differently shaped external casting with a 1 1/8" sector and 24:1 ratio.  There also used a slightly different frame mounting bolt pattern they won't interchange with 67-70 models.

Some people here converted power steering to manual, maybe they can tell you more than me.
The easiest way is to lift some weights every days and you won't need power steering
