Noise in the front end!
« on: March 05, 2009, 03:27:08 PM »
I am haveing a noise in the front end of my 73 mustang coupe. I am thinking it is a ball joint. When I am parked and turn the wheel I can here it. Also when driving. Not all the time though. I like to wait about 3 weeks to repair. Could a ball joint fail and cause a wreck? I still need to drive for 3 weeks. The noise is subtle no loud. Thanks for the feedback jemoore24

I have grease zerks on my 65 so I can grease the ball joints.
See if you have those on your 73, and if you do, give them a shot or two of grease.
