New Ford Racing "427 Cobra" Windsor Valve Covers???
« on: September 08, 2009, 12:00:17 PM »
Has anyone seen the new 427 Cobra Windsor valve covers from Ford Racing?

They had a prototype version at SEMA last year on the Ford display and it looked great, but I haven't heard anything since.

It's a Windsor cover, but styled to look like an FE cover and it says "427 Cobra Ford Racing" on the top.

Has anyone heard anything more about them or when they'll be available???

Yea! I think those are them! You're sure those are for the 289/302/351 Windsor and not the big block FE motor???

Where can I get a pair???  Any idea where they're made?

Any clue what pricing will be like for them?

I can't wait to get a set for the Windsor I'm building!

Yes they are 289/302/351 Windsor, they also have one for the FE.
They are made by Ford Racing, so I would think from Summit or Jegs or any good mustang dealer.
They say made in California USA on the inside, I know Ford Racing tries to make everything they can in the USA, just wish everyone did the same.
Im not sure on price, but I understand that they are way less than the crappy sandcast ones that just have the 427 on top and no baffles
