Need a '67 Pitman Arm (1") for manual steering... Any out there?
« on: December 28, 2007, 04:23:07 PM »
Converting an early (Jan)  '67 Mustang from power steering to manual.  Got all the steering components ready to go, but found that the Pitman Arm is wrong.  Need an arm with 1" fitting to steering box that is made for manual steering link...  Needs the tapered bolt for connection to center linl.  Lots of 1 1/8" units out there, but no luck finding what I need.

I found at that 2 different Pitman Arms were available for 1967 and I also only found 1 1/8" ones. Did you try contacting Mustang parts shops?
Ebay might also have some listed. Nothing much right now but maybe you can check there from time to time: Ebay link
