Magnum 500 identification
« on: February 26, 2010, 12:41:04 AM »
Some one i was talking to was trying to convince me that my magnum 500s were not factory. Is there a casting # on them or something that i can id them? Or a way to tell if they are original or not? (They are welded not riveted if that makes a difference).

Magnum 500's we stock optional wheels on Boss 302's and Boss 429's for sure. By 1971 I would think they were available for most Mustangs as optional wheels. You might want to check some mustang restoration books as i swear seeing Boss 351's with them.
