Interior - Carpet question
« on: December 08, 2010, 10:24:30 AM »
Ok..I'm thinking this shouldn't be this hard - but when I went to order carpet for my '70 I was present with these choices:

Plush Cut Pile
Ultra-Plush Cut Pile
Neon Cut Pile
80-20 Loop:
Nylon Loop:

Nylon loop i thing is what is in there now....80-20 loop? No idea that might be.  Neaon Cut Pile??   Plush? Ultra-plus?  I'm redoing a the Love Van!!!!

Thoughts?
Car will going to the drags from time to time and car shows and weekly drive.

For your use, go with the Nylon, which was the original type. Otherwise, use the leftovers from the bedroom.

Yeah, the original was nylon loop.  You have to trim it some though, especially under the dash and along the sides.  Be careful though.  You can always take more off, you just can't put it back on.
