If it is just a minor misalignment then try this.
Turn the wipers on and cut off the ignition with them fully extended.
To remove the driver's side arm, you need to slide a small clip back on the inside small arm. Lift the blade and insert a pin through the hole in the arm assembly and let the arm down on it. I used a finishing nail on mine.
Very, very gently wiggle the arm until it comes loose. Do not pry or force it. If you damage the wiper transmission, you will quickly learn that no one reproduces them and they can be hard to find.
The shaft is splined and the splines are very fine and made of pot metal.
Reinstall the wiper at the proper position, again working it onto the shaft carefully. Lift the arm and remove the pin and reinstall the clip on the small side of the arm.
Passenger side does not have the small arm and comes off in the same manner otherwise.
If it is major, then you should remove the wiper motor, unhook the linkage (it is held in by a clip, depress and slide the clip off and it will come apart.
The motor should be parked before you reattatch it. With the wiring hooked up turn on the wipers and then turn them off. It should park if your motor isn't bad. Hook everything back up with the wipers resting at the bottom of their travel and test.
I hope this helps
