Help with tranny

I am building a 66 Mustang. Put a 351W roller rocker out of a 1994 Lighting truck in it. When they put AOD tranny out of 1992 Mustang, seems flywheel in not right. It will not allow pump to push fluid in to torque converter and burnt up tranny. Any one have suggestions about flywheel or other possible solutions.

1st off you have to be using a 28oz balance flexplate(flywheel for automatics) with that 351, second if the motor is bolted to the flywheel and the torque converter is bolted to the  flexplate there is no way it didnt turn the pump.

either the engine or tranny installer crushed the front pump upon install

or the tv cable was nto installed at all or completely out of adjustment(controls line pressure and it will burn the tranny up if not right)


are you running the efi or a carb setup? if your running the carb setup you gonna need a lokar tv cable to hook it all together if efi you can make a trip0 to the boneyard to get the correct cable
