Fan clutch and seven blade fan
« on: July 16, 2011, 01:10:03 PM »
I got me a new fan clutch (non thermal from CJ's) and a nice used seven blade fan I won on ebay. My question is-Do I still need a fan spacer because the bolts are now too long without one. This is on my 65, 289 engine that had the stock four blade fan and stock fan spacer on it. I got the fan clutch bolts #HW944 also from CJ's and installed the fan to the fan clutch but not sure how to install this to my water pump. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I am planning on adding air later. John
