falcon stalling issues

hello, i have just put my '65 falcon on the road and im having some issues with it stalling. Its only when im pushing on the brakes and coming to a stop, then it struggles to start when i try to turn it over. Its got fresh fuel and new plugs and wires. I know its not a mustang but i could use some help trying to trouble shoot this problem.

It sounds like the carb floods when the fuel in the bowl moves forward during the braking.  Make sure your float height is correct and that the needle and seat are sealing properly.

also you might want to raise the idle a tad and double check your timing.

ill try both those things, honestly i just got it on the road and its already having its quirks
