Headers would be fine but only if you were not keeping the Mustang stock. Everthing in my car is staying stock. Just like it was when it came off of the show room floor.

John,
Consider one upgrade for safety. Think about changing over to a dual master clyinder/booster brake system. Cruising the highway with all of the new cars and drivers is scary because they think every car out there can stop and respond as quickly as they can. . . . .  8)   PS: My 66 is being changed over during this winters redo. . . . .  :)

Makes a lot of sense... I'm a big believer in stopping. A number matching, all original car is nice but if it's all smashed up because you couldn't stop it in time... well then it's just scrap metal.

You can get a set-up from Summit Racing Equipment or get one from a donor car. Most parts catalogs have them and I'm sure good deals are available. I'm going with the donor car since being a Ford product it may be easier to replace parts if needed. . . . . Haven't picked it up yet but will let you know the make and year as soon as I do. . . .  8)

OK, thanks Joe. I am going with Eastwoods POR-15 Engine paint and exhaust paint. I hear only good things about these paints. No oven needed.

I've never been disappointed with any Eastwood products. They seem to focus on the quality of what they develop and sale. Post some pic's when you done. . . . .  8)

Will do, but it will be a while. In no big hurry. I have a lot going on. Got the paints yesterday. But I will post pictures. Yes, Eastwood cost a little more but will worth it. IMO

Im using a high heat paint from POR 15.  After the first coat  dried for 24 hours I put the exhaust manifolds in my outdoor gas grill for about 2 hours at 400. I just put the  second coat on last night. I will keep you updated on how long it last. We shall see.

That is what I have is POR 15 exhaust manifold paint. I am also using the POR Engine paint. Already painted the intake manifold. Looks great. I took the intake off of the engine and will do the engine later. I am replacing most of the old parts on the fengine with new. That is just me. New nuts, bolts, screws just a really good detail also. It is much easier (sp) with all the parts out of the engine compartment. Repainted the OE air cleaner and valve covers with the right gold paint. Yes, let me know. Thanks

John,
I found a set-up out of a 69 Mustang. The booster is good but for safety reasons I'm going to replace the master clyinder with a new one. . . . .  8)

We both got to be 67 by not short-cutting when it comes to safety. . .  8)
