I am having the same problem now. I have went back and replaced everyting and the ballast wire has been bypassed with a ballast resistor mounted on the fire wall. The + wire is going to the + side of the coil and the - wire goes to ground. The + wire from the points goes to the + side of the coil. All internal and external parts are new. New points, condenser, cap, rotor, wires, coil, and with all this still no fire. Champion2211
