Can I use the same master cylinder on my 67' coupe?

Hey,
I have a 67' coupe. The front end was swapped with a 78' Ford Granada front end. So my mustang now has a 5 bolt front disc brakes. It currently has manual brakes. And I'm looking to upgrade. So what I'm wondering is if I can get away with using my old master cylinder with a booster and save a little money? Or do I need to get a new master cylinder with the booster to make it work?

You can use the old MC, but if I were you and was upgrading the entire brake system, I would replace the old MC. They wear out, ya' know, and you don't want to have to come back and do this all over again.

Thank you!
I was leaning towards just getting an entire MC and booster, just to be done with it.
Any suggestions on a good setup? I will want to convert the rear to disc eventually... I don't know if that will be factor.

If you already have disks on the front, then you already have a proportioning valve, so adding disks to the rear won't change anything you do to the front brakes.
