C4 Trans problems
« on: July 07, 2008, 08:39:15 PM »
I bought this car off of ebay. 1967 Mustang coupe I beleieve it has a C4 trans and a 289 modified. The car has sat for around 4 years the owner did go out and crank the engine over just to keep oil in the engine, not starting it cause it has headers and no exhuast system. He told me that the trans wont engage or shift into any gear. I have not started the yet I just need some advice on what to look for before I do
Thanks Jeff  any mechanics close to Noblesville IN  Please em Me

If what you are saying is all true, then you need to get the C4 overhauled, and an exhaust system put on it.
