brake line replacement
« on: April 03, 2009, 08:17:19 AM »
My car has not been driven in about 5 years. I went to bleed the brakes and only had fluid to one wheel. I replaced the master cylinder and the brake line on the front side that was not working. Still no fluid to the front. Is it possible the "junction box" for the brake line needs to be replaced. I cannot find what that is called , or where to order one. Thanks. THis is my first post.

It's called a brake fluid distribution block.  If you have air, you could blow it out to see if you are getting air through it.  If not, Mustangs Unlimited carries them.  1-888-229-2929
You might want to check the little thing you unscrew to get the fluid out.  It might be plugged.  A dirt dobber may have put mud in it.
