Not really rare but expensive. The buy it now is about what the core charge would be in a rebuild swap. The carb itself was originally set up for a 289CID "A" code with an automatic transmission and was used in early 1965 Mustangs, Fairlanes and Falcons, maybe Mercurys too.

I priced a 2100 one time at Autozone and the price was about 500 bux.  So, I got a used one off Ebay for less than 50, and rebuilt it myself for about 25 bux.  That was a few years back and she still runs like a Banshee Indian.  These 4100's don't turn up very often on Ebay.  Yeah, the 4130's do, but not the 4100's.  At least not for that price.  If I had  a Weiand, I might consider throwing that puppy on Ol' Yeller.  Nahhhhhh........
