« on: May 14, 2008, 07:58:13 PM »
Anyone know where to get 71-73 doors preferably with mach 1 glass? or even skins, or reproduction I am unable to find anything for doors, mine are way too far gone to repair and need to do something. All sheet metal is pretty much been replaced just need doors, any help would be greatly appreciated

well the good thing about the car is the hard top, fastback and the vert all use the same door. with the only difference being the glass. for hard to find stuff i use www.mustangmasters.com 9047243927 he is in jacksonville fla

but honestly id look around and check craigslist.org and look for a parts car might find a complete coupe and be able get the parts for less than the price of the car

I have some junk yards listed in the classic FAQ right above your head.  If you are lucky you will find one that isn't all rusted out.  I had a Jeepster one time that didn't have any doors, but I found some outside Seattle and had them shipped all the way to Texas.  It took me several months of beating the bushes, but if you are persistent, there are some decent doors out there waiting for you to purchase them.

5 years ago when i did the body on my car I looked everywhere and no one made doors or skins then. I found a body guy who was able to fix up my old doors pretty good. I even had the hinges rebuilt. Thats the only option for 71-73 cars right now. Unless some ones started up since i looked. I actually got doors off a doner that were in better shape then mine..
