Topic: 1967 Doors

One of the projects I want to get done this winter is to disassemble my door guts; window, regulators and tracks to clean, lube etc. They work OK but tend to bind, especially the drivers side. I have looked all over including our FAQ section. Looking for "How to" step by step instructions to take apart and back together can anyone help?

There's a lot of good how-to info in the "averagejoe" link including the most elusive, "what parts are available". For a more detailed look, get a copy of the 1967 Mustang Body Assembly manual that includes the factory parts and factory adjustment procedures. The one adjustment step most people forget is the rear quarter window. Actually, get a whole set of the assembly manuals. The 1967 year is the most complete.

Most parts houses have the manuals. Try National Parts Depot http://www.npdlink.com/ under their stock numbers L-31D, L-32D, L-33D, L-34D, L-35D and L-64D. They are in the LA area and will ship free on orders over $300 and you will easily get to that amount.
