1966 power steering assembly question
« on: December 01, 2008, 07:11:41 PM »
I have a question from the French side of the forum. Do you know how to remove the part on the photo? The user says it's from the power steering box on a 66 Mustang but I don't recognize anything from the part catalogs I have.

Sorry Thierry, I have no clue.  But, it doesn't look like a part that can be removed since it is embedded.

It's called the ball stud. First, clean it up. There's a pin at the end that needs to be driven out. I'll make a copy of the service manual page and post it - after dinner.
