The add says 65-67, will it work for my 68? are there any issues with that?

Will those seats fit? Yes, same sliding tracks as 64-67. Why? I hope it's a temporary thing. 68 seat were the first year that "locked" back.

The reason I want to get them is because my coupe has aftermarket mach 1 type seats in them and I want to get as close to original as I can without spending a small fortune buying completely new aftermarket 68 seats.

As I said, the 68 style have a lock back feature plus some internal minor differences. You may be costing yourself in the long run.
