Locking mechanism in the door of a 68 coupe
« on: January 11, 2011, 04:23:58 PM »
I am trying to replace the entire locking mechanism in the door "3 bars and the latch" is there any way to separate the inner panel from the outer or am I going to have to assemble it through the little holes underneath the door panels.

With the panel off and the window rolled up (or out), removal and installation is thru the access holes in the door. It's a pain the first time, the second one will be easy. The only special tool needed is a glass of wine.
