Topic: tricky issue

long story short got a 90 stang gt all stock ran 16.8 @ 82 ado. now after some mods the car will bog at the line and act like its getting to much fuel in my opinon if i floor is the car runs 16.2 at 97 but if i do half way on first gear then floor it on second and after the car will run 15.1 at 97. what can it be? the timing is at 12. i am thinking it is the tps and how do i check that any help would be great.

  ok the issue was the maf was not reading right. i was using a maf from a lightning and it is a 80mm for 30 lbs but i was told to run that meter on my car i need to run a chip or flash the computer is that true?? another thing is i put the stock meter back on and now the car runs ok. now i am wondering will the car be ok if i am running 30lbs injectors with the stock maf??? thanks for your help guys!!!

when you change the maf you have to calibrate it for whatever injectors you have.
