Topic: ticking wen trying to start

hey guys! im a new mustang owner. i went to start my car today to move it, and all i got was tick tick tick tick like the battery was dead. so i grab the other car and the jumpers hooked them up and tryed starting the stang again still the same tick tick tick tick. i just bought the car and havnent driving it yet really do to weather so it has just been sitting for the past week and half need to get this fixed soon thanks alot guys

That ticking sound is coming from your solenoid which is located on the inner fender near your battery.  You will see two nuts that are bigger than the others.  Use your cables to bridge across to hook up those two nuts.  That will turn your starter over if your battery is truly up to par.  If not, then your battery needs a charge or replacement.
