Topic: Strange tin can noise Coming from my 1991 5.0

Only happens somtimes  for about10 seconds when I accelerate  seems when that happened my push button starter is becoming picky are the two problems related?  If anyone has any ideas....... thanks!

You are going to have to explain what is happening a little better to get a decent answer.  What do you mean by "tin can?"  You don't have a push button starter.  What is that all about?   The last push button starter I have seen was on a 1949 Ford business man's coupe.
