I have a 1990 gt convertable 5.0. Recently I noticed my Oil gauge is irratic going from 40psi to 20psi. Dont know if I should worry about this. Replaceing the Oil sender unit this Sat. Any other thoughts?

well if it does it at idle its fine. But if you want to get a high volume ,not high pressure

Took the car in today replaced the oil sending unit, The old one was the 16 yr old original. It's running great now
