Ok i dont know if this could be caused by a vacuum leak or not, but what would stop fuel from getting to the injectors? I checked the little checker on the rail that is near the valve cover and fuel came out there but i think fuel might not be getting to the injectors..

after messing with the car some more and trying to get it to start, the car started only with me playing with the gas pedal while cranking and then i had to hold the gas pedal and would not go past about 700 rpm and when i let go of the gas the car shut back off...

Can anyone help???

you might have some fuel coming to the rail but the pressuremight not be that high. disconnect where you had fuel again and put the rail in a jar and start it to see what kind of flow you are getting. you could also hook a gauge up to it for an accurate pressure reading.

what should the pressure read when i check? could a bend in the fuel line also cause a big problem like the car not starting up or haveing problems where sometimes if you feather with the gas pedal it will start but as soon as you let the gas pedal go it shut off?

Another possibility is a plugged exhaust. Probably not horribly likely with dual exhaust esp w/ a cross pipe. My girl has an MR2 and for a while we could hardly get the thing to run. Turned out that catalytic had exploded and plugged the exhaust. It would barely start and when it did it wouldn't go over 1000 rpm or so. Probably not your issue but don't rule it out because we checked everything else before figuring it out

its weird with mine its like when i try to start it i have to play wit the gas pedal and then i have to hold it and it wont go over 800rpms and if i let the gas go it shuts off. but it only does this much sometimes. i have a xpipe and dual exhaust that was just put on and i dont have a cat because im running long tube headers.
