you're so much help all the time. thats exactly what i needed. thanks Glen.   the fuse for my horn was blown so i replaced it, and it blew that one too. so i replaced it again and it stopped blowing them. but i think i fried a circuit cause it sparked. but since its just the horn, i'm not too concerned.

Yeah, you are going to need a horn.  If for nothing else but to pass state inspection. Trace down the short with a multi-meter and replace that wire.  I don't know much about the 93's horn button, but usually the contact points aren't making contact if it doesn't honk.   What we old Mustang guys do is clip off the glass from a tube fuse and place that metal tip on the contact point because the old contact point has worn out. Don't know.  Let us know what you come up with.

well, one good thing about living in south carolina is that we do not have to pass a state inspection. but i am going to try to get this figured out. i don't like my steering wheel, it feels too big to me. i'd like to get an aftermarket one. i'll have to find one with a horn button though if i want it to work.
