Topic: engine turns but wont fire

my 88 gt turns over, get spark, gets fuel but wont fire....spray carb cleaner in the throttle body it starts but as soon as it wears of it dies and wont start....all my injectors are good, got brand new msd cap,rotor...accel wires, new plugs......any help would be greatly appreciated.....ill post a burnout vid....thanks

If you are getting fire, gas and compression, it should start if your timing is set right.  Start with checking that.  And, welcome to the site newbie.  Pull up a chair and hang around.

can you hear your fuel pump kick on when you turn the key on. after you check the timing check the fuel pressure. also double check the wires and make sure theyre in the right order.

yep, ive checked all that, timing is good, fuel pressure is at 40psi, checked the wires, got a brand new msd cap/rotor, accel wires, motorcraft plugs.....i cant figure it out either....im thinking its the module on the distributor, i dont know if thta would have anything to do with the injectors but i have another 87gt parts car that is just sitting with all the parts i need.....the car ran beautifully when i got it but now it wont.

how bout the timing chain. i have heard of them jumping before
