Engine compatibility help please!!!
« on: July 18, 2009, 06:28:40 PM »
I have a 1994 mustang gt convertible and it has been blowing oil out of the exaust, so I figured that I would buy a new engine.  Basically I was wondering how that works with other 5.0 engines, for example, can I take a 5.0 from a lincoln or a F-150 and just drop it in.  Or what would be required to do that? please help me...and thank you

if you have the money to buy a new engine then id get something like a 331 or 347 stroker. now if you have the time and experience then building your own would be a good way also.
