Greetings from Ukraine guys.
Going to buy this used Mustang
Does anyone know   how will constant using of bio ethanol effect on this beauty’s engine? I mean, wouldn’t it be bad for a car? The Authorized Ford Centers in Ukraine has no answer. The Ukrainian Ford forums also haven’t got a clue. So, I rely on your experience and knowledge.
Many thanks for any help.

BTW, how do u refer to  bio ethanol? It isn’t very popular in Ukraine. But, IMHO it has a great future.

What year is the mustang?  Thats the first question I must ask.  The reason I ask is I use to work for a refinery here that did alot with the ethanol.  I ran it just a few times in my 1969 Mach 1 and I had to stop. I was having valve problems.   Now in my 2001 Chevy truck it worked great.

The newer motors are being set up to run the ethanol in them were as the older motors just cant use it.  If the car has its owners manual still with it you might get lucky and it say something about ethanol in it.

Let me know what year and I will send a letter to someone I know that works for Ford and I will see if we can get a answer

The car is a 1995 Mustang.
I don't think you can use Ethanol on a stock Mustang for a daily use. There is kits available and it would cost around $500 to $1000 to convert your engine.
I have been reading about it a while ago and I will try to find the article.
The price for this Mustang is very high. Is there a way for you to import a Mustang directly from the States? I am sure the final price including shipping would be much cheaper than the $15.000 they ask.

Unfortunately it would be  much more expensive due to customs and taxes.
