I have a 96 gt with a 94 5.0 swap. The car ran great before, but developed a firing problem from the solenoid to the distributor. The computer burned up when a wire arced off and there also was a fuse in the wrong spot (which made the fuel pump run constantly without the key in the ignition). Ive changed the computer, and still no fire out of the solenoid. Ive replaced it twice. The "THEFT" light is flashing on the dash. Would that kill the power out of the solenoid? Does anyone have any advice?
