my 93 has some new problems..check engine is on and off maybe a day or two before it comes back on..ran a code check O2s run lean..check the code a day later no O2 codes show up car sometimes has no power and some days it runs great gas mileage is very bad at this time..seems like the timming is changing just by the way the car sounds ..car is at 12 degs total motor is stock just the normal bolt ons.. headers cold air Mac high flow cats...flow masters
any help??

unplug your neg batt terminal to reset the computer and see if that changes anything. if that doesnt work try cleaning your maf and air idle control valve. one other thing off the top of my head is vacuum leaks. spray some carb cleaner or starting fluid around the intake and check all vac hoses. more than likely not vac leaks because it would be a constant issue but worth a look.

I did unhook the battery for about an hour which did clear the computer codes..sometimes the idle does change runs around  800- 1200..I did find a vac leak and I fix that. car has new plugs ,plug wires. cap rotor.. last summer the car ran too rich..now its too lean..

well just try cleaning those two things and see if theres a change.

cleaned the maf  that did help..no codes..ever have problems with the TFI module?

i havent but ive heard of them going bad. maybe check the coil also.
