i have an 84 mustang gt and i was just wondering how exactly to adjust the clutch quadrant?

Do you have a clutch quadrant that the cable attaches to the firewall on the engine side?  If so, just turn the knob clock-wise to tighten it.  If not, then get one and install it.  They are the cat's meow.

if it is stock you just pull up on the clutch pedal till it clicks
