Topic: 302 year difference

I have a 92 with a bad shortblock. I have purchased an 87 shortblock to build back to std spec. Question is  Summit shows a year break in their part kits. What is the difference in 86-90 and 91-93 blocks and assemblys? I never thought there was. Those are the year breaks for the kits. Any info will help, Thanks!

if im not mistaken the only difference is maf. 86-90 doesnt have one. there might be more but im not sure.

i bet the difference is the replacement bolts in the kit iirc 90-93 used torque to yield bolts
