1990 cross member problem
« on: December 23, 2009, 12:56:23 AM »
i am ready to put my rebuilt 1990lx 5.0 and t5 manual tranny in my 89 4c auto. i have pulled the 4c and tranny out this past weekend. well i noticed that the cross members are way different. i know the 5.0 one has the double hump, but it is much wider at ends and shorter than the 4c one. what can i do about this. is there a different place under the car it will go? i thought for sure the both would swap. please help !!!  im so ready to get this engine and tranny in. yes i know about all the stuff i have to swap. im doing all the rear end, brakes, etc.
