1979 Pace Car brake hoses
« on: March 24, 2010, 08:32:45 PM »
I cannot find front disc brake hoses for my 79 Pace Car. The calipers that were on it and the rebuilt ones I just purchased took a hose with a bubble flare end. Every parts dealer I have tried only has hoses with inverted flare ends. Would the inverted flare seal up enough to use them? It doesn't make any sense to have all of these calipers remanufactured and not be able to get the correct hoses for them. I am stumped. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks! >:(

I had to buy a flaring tool to replace the hoses on my 65.  Not sure about the 79, but I feel sure the flaring tool you can buy will work.  Get back and let's try to figure this one out if that doeen't work.
