Topic: whining noise?

i have a 2008 gt, and ever since i have it it keeps making a whining noise only in first gear.  almost sounds like a turbo whining.   i just put an CAI in it and its still there.  thought it might have gone away but it did not.  does anyone have any idea what is causing this noise?  just curious.

No, but because it is still under warranty, you might want to take it back to the Ford shop and have them check it out.

If it's only happening in first gear and at any RPM I would say it's a transmission defect and you should take it back to a Ford garage.
