My dad owns a 2002 Mustang GT.
He has put BBK headers on it and a Bassani Exhaust system.  It gives a very distictive rumble and sounds great. I would look into it see if thats what your looking for. You can find videos of the way the Exhaust system sounds on You tube.

I have a 2000 Mustang GT and I'm using JLT True Cold Air Intake Kit, No headers yet but Flowmaster cat-back exhaust, Trick flow upper intake matched with 70mm throttle body.  Its not the most highend stuff thats out there but for the price its has done very well. I also have a Jet performer module and it helped but is not worth the money I paid. I did work little by little and CAI and Plenum with the throttle body made a instant difference. Heres a link the the CAI.

i would look for an intake that goes outside the engine bay, i know they have some that go into the fenderwall. if not i would look at aem double chamber intakes they are soposed to be the best desighn yet

i agree with mad mort i have jlt true colt air intake it gos into the fenderwall a pain to install but worth it if you want a really good exhaust go with borla pricy but good it all depends on how much you want to spend or you can do it like me and some others off road x pipe flows magnaflow its all good. with headers i would go bbk makes great shorty headers for our year. for cams i would say stage 1 or 2 comp cams.. it all depends what your using your car for and get a good tuner sct.. makes a great tuner i have it for my 99 gt..just do what you want with it have any questions ask you will get answers

Here's the thing, if your planning on doing a blower.. don't even bother with the CAI.

I say do Exhaust first, BBK Longtubes + Mid-Pipe and Flowmasters.

Get a SCT Tuner..

Then go with a Blower, Personally I like the Aftercooled Vortech kits best on those cars and I've driven quite a few. They fit nice and make good power.

If that's not enough then break open the engine, because at that point your getting into the big money stuff.

As far as superchargers go, there is none better than the Kenne Bell.

with all thats listed that you have down you could prolly hit about 400 maybe alittle over   to the wheels depending on the cam and tune and if the blower is going to be intercooled keep it at around 10 psi of boost
