What is this sensor?
« on: September 17, 2008, 02:38:29 PM »
While I was working on my transmission I accidentally broke the sensor that sits on top of the engine, on the back of the intake manifold, behind the shaker scoop. It has an electrical connection and 2 lines (vacuum?) going to it. Any body have any idea what its called so I can find a replacement for it.

Also, my transmission is grinding in 4th only. When I'm upshifting or downshifting. Whould that be the syncro? If so, does that require a transmission rebuild?

Thanks for any help.
