ok first it is usually hard to shift into any gear if feels like the shifter is gettin caught on something in the trans when i try to shift into anygear and i have to give it a little force and wait a second before it slides in and alot of the time it makes a real quick grind while shifting into reverse. also once in a while it will shift great like anycar should but it only last for mayb 10 minutes and then it becomes difficult again. i would believe that would be the trans unless maybe the clutch is engaging for some reason, i really have no clue. however, i dont know if this is related but alot of times in reverse when i engage the clutch to shift back into first i hear a loud bang and i also hear a bang when i let the clutch out down shifting usually when im going kind of fast for that gear( not red lining or anything) it sounds like metal to metal anyway hope you guys got some input on this
