I replaced the alternator recently on my 2000 GT after sitting up a while...maybe a month. It took a while for it to start...when it did I heard a noticible rattling noise at the lower front of the engine block. Figured it might be the water pump... or maybe the starter? Not sure if the starter is down there though. I always remembered starters being back under the block...
Any thoughts...?
