PERFORMANCE CHIP & GAS SVR FOR FORD MUSTANG
« on: August 20, 2009, 03:44:23 AM »
Hi

am planning to use 1 of these on my 2002 Mustang GT & i was woundering if any of the Mustang owners have ever used something like this  >>

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220456293770&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT

or this >>

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190316777654&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT

i've used 1 on my Toyota Echo 03 & i felt a bit improve in accelation but didn't feel the gas saver as am always flooring it max til i shift to upper gear.

so any advice guys on which of what i have mentioned above or if there is something else ??

i know that it might add mybe 10hp not 100 or 130hp as its bla bla bla  ;D

IMO, I'd stay away from a device like that.. not the right way to tune a OBD-II Mustang.

Your best bet, with the lowest cost involved is the SCT Economizer. The tuner comes with programs optimized with Mileage in mind. Not to mention a slight increase power. I've seen a few first hand in some newer F-150's and users have reported an increase mileage.

I don't think it is dangerous at all. You should try it once and then take decision like this.
