Need to identify a differential......

Hi to all i have this little friend installed in my 1997 Mustang GT i buy the car like that, i know this its not a stock one, but can someone tell me where i can find more info a link or some advice going to be apreciate, i already make the test of turn the wheel and count the spin...ect results 3.73.....

Can someone tell me how to post a picture or if i have to send it by mail where? TX

To post a picture, first have the picture either on your camera and plugged into the computer via UBS, or have it on your computer such as "My Pictures" or "My Documents".  Hit "Reply" then scroll down and you will see "Other Options."  Hit that and you will see Attach and Browse.  Hit the browse button and select your picture, then hit attach.

Looks like a Ford 8.8 rear to me.....

yup is a 8.8 but how i know if it possy or not and where i can find a breakdown schematic, because its have a lot of play. I m little desperate to know where i can find a schematic.

I tried to google a schematic, but with no luck.  A few other people are asking for one too, but with the same luck I had.  I don't have any experience with an 8.8, so can't tell you if it is a posi or not.  With the driver' side wheel on the ground and the passenger's side off the ground, try turning the passenger side rear tire.  If it turns, then it is an open rear, but if it won't budge, then it is a locker.

Thanks for the help and reply, i just contact a friend that work for Ford and is working to get me a copy of the schematic soon as i get it i let you know to posted on the site for futher reference, tx.

Ok this differential for futher reference its a Powertrax No-Slip Differential i attach a exploded view, if you need installation inst. e-mail me or Goggleit.
