Topic: motor is finally done and running!

Its been awhile since my last post and at that time my motor was unfinished but I have now got it in the car and running...I put a 5.1 stroker kit in along with stage II patriot heads, comp cams xtreme energy cams(234/238), bbk long tube headers and x pipe, spec stage II + clutch and alumminum flywheel and qtp electric cutouts....I recently had it tuned at rodeheavers hot rod shop located 6 miles from uniontown pa and he did a great job tuning it but wasn't impressed with the numbers that I ha d put down.....I ended up with 303 whp and 336 tq.....I was hoping along the lines of 350 whp and up but it is what it is. Made a world of difference from when it was stock I was shocked the first time I took it out and opened it up and the sound of the car when it idles hearing how lumpy it sounds fr4om the cams.....next year hopefully have the braking, suspension work done and possibly a blower     just figured id share with everyone since I had said I would let everyone know when its done and running

don't feel bad about the numbers, it is how it performs that matters.  As rear wheel dyno's go. you can get a pretty big variation form machine to machine.  Heck, the operator can give you pretty significant variations in interpreting a single pull!
