engine swap
« on: August 20, 2010, 01:26:08 PM »
i just installed a 2001 4.6 with a eaton supercharger in my 2000 mustang gt, when i start the car it idles very high at around 1400rpm, there is no vaccum leaks, when i disconnect the idle air control module it idles fine, i put a new IAC in wth a new plug but it still has a high idle, do i need to have ford reflash my computer? when i had the car tuned and a sct programmer the guys at the shop thought i had a vaccum leak but i dont think that is the case, unplugging the IAC and covering the hole should make the idle go back up right? please help
