Topic: Coolant smeel in AC, Need Help!!!!

Hi, yesterday when i return to home, i start to smell coolant inside the car, this morning i can notice that a little smoke came out of theupper part of the dash, i know that this could be the heater core, but i live in a tropic island so i dont need it, theres a way to bypass the heater core without taking the dash out? hope so... if someone can post a link or instructions how to do it or direct me to a post going to be apreciate, i need o fix the car fast because is my only way of transportation.

Open your hood and look for the two hoses that enter your firewall to feed the heater core.  Take both of those hoses off and link them together so that you have a continual flow of water, but not to the heater core. 
You also need to mop up the water on your passenger side to keep the floor pan from rusting out.

Yeah, they are quite visible.  They are just two heater rubber hoses going into the firewall on the passenger side.  Here is a shot of mine on my 65.  Yours should be about the same place on your firewall.
